![]() ![]() The perfect weather forecast for a working photographer would read something like: clear at sunrise, cloudy all day, clear at sunset. ![]() I shot a book of nature photographs several years ago and of the 75 pictures in the book, five of them were taken on sunny days the rest were taken on cloudy days - or in fog whenever I could find it. Most professionals, when faced with the prospect of taking pictures all day, would probably choose a cloudy day over a sunny day. I used a large aperture to insure that the plaster garage walls would be out of focus and take on the look of a photo studio. The picture on the left, above, was taken in this situation. I put a large white reflective piece of paneling from Home Depot in the driveway to pop some light on one side of her face and give the picture a three-dimensional look.
